Workshop Part II (U2 to Areas, Target Groups and Organisation of Social Work) - Einzelansicht

Queer Intersectionality is the second part of a two-semester workshop that offers an introduction to self-organized, anti-racist intersectional social work. In addition to theoretical texts we will be learning about various social movements that formulate critiques of white supremacy and cis-heteropatriarchy and how these critiques can come into play in social work. In this half of the workshop, students will be asked to initiate and participate in group projects related to themes we take up in the course. The group work will form the basis of the participation requirement (Studienleistung). At least 25% of the course will consist of independent work outside of the classroom. In the first class we will work together on a solidarity-based strategy that will contribute to protecting clinically vulnerable people inside and outside the classroom. The language of instruction is English.
