Learning Outcomes:
Students should be able to complete written academic essays at a minimum C-1 English level within fields of the humanities. They should be familiar with formal organizational and structural principles for scientific texts. Course objectives: competence in research documentation and academic essay writing.
Course Content:
The process of essay and report writing for scientific purposes. Emphasis will be placed on i) structuring sentences and paragraphs coherently; ii) concision and accuracy, iii) citation of sources; and iv) application and transference of source material to express observations.
Prerequisites:
Minimum high B-2 English Level (Advanced Intermediate). |
