Inhalt
Kommentar	<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">The seminar introduces students to the field of social economics by exploring the social construction of work in contemporary society.</p><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">Central questions to be addressed include the following: What counts as work? Can employment contribute to social justice or does it reproduce existing social inequalities based on gender, class, abilism, and racism? What role can the profession of social work play in this respect? And how are labour relations structured in the field of social work itself?</p><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">We will study different theoretical perspectives on labour and pay particular attention to struggles around exploitation, economic empowerment, notions of decent work, and visions of the future of work in the digital economy.</p>
