Das Wahlmodul wird als Begleitkurs für das im Wintersemester startende ASH Pre-Study Programm für Menschen mit Fluchterfahrung stattfinden. Im Zuge des Seminars werden Student*innen, die bereits im Arbeitsfeld Flucht und Migration tätig sind sowie die Teilnehmer*innen mit Fluchterfahrung des ASH Pre-Study Programms die Möglichkeit haben, sich auf theoretischer Ebene mit ihren Erfahrungen aus dem professionellem oder ehrenamtlichen Arbeitskontext auseinanderzusetzen und sich auf praktischer Ebene kritisch mit der Handlungsfähigkeit innerhalb restriktiver Rahmenbedingungen der Asyl- und Flüchtlingspolitik auszutauschen. Zu den Terminen werden Praktiker*innen aus den verschiedenen Feldern der Sozialen-, Erziehungs- und Bildungsarbeit mit geflüchteten Menschen eingeladen, um den Teilnehmer*innen vertiefende Einblicke zu ermöglichen und Handlungsmöglichkeiten aufzuzeigen. Das Wahlseminar wird 2 Bausteine haben.
Baustein 1: Diskussion zu Migration, Flucht und aktuellen Praxen der Sozialen Arbeit – Welche Perspektiven? Lassen sich diese zusammen bringen? Wo wollen wir hin?
- Open Space Seminar mit Inputs von Expert*innen von aus Migrantenselbstorganisationen, sozialen Bewegungen und sozialarbeiterischer Praxisl
Baustein 2: Arbeiten im Themenkomplex Flucht und Miration: Ansätze und Methoden zur Konzeption und (Weiter-)Entwicklung konkreter Projekte im Theorie-Praxis-Transfer.
- Einheiten zur Ideensammlung, zu Förderprogrammen sowie zur konkreten Projektplanung und –umsetzung mit Expert*innen (z.B. CampGroup, Yooweedoo Changemaker, Stiftungen)
Das Seminar wird bilingual auf Englisch und Deutsch stattfinden.
Das Seminar ist offen für Interessierte aus allen Studiengängen.
Geplant sind 4 Donnerstags- und 4 Freitags-Termine (jeweils 16-18h00).

The elective module will take place as an accompanying course for the ASH Pre-Study program for refugees. In course of the seminar students who are already active within the field of exile and migration as well as participants with a background of flight within the ASH Pre-Study program will have the opportunity to reflect their experiences of professional as well as voluntary work critically on a theoretical as well as practical level. Further, participants will discuss and reflect in regards to working within the framework of restrictive asylum and refugee policy.
Practitioners from the various fields of Social Work as well as the field of education working with refugees will be invited to allow participants a deeper insight and identify opportunities for further action. The elective module will have 2 components. Component 1: Debating Migration, Exile and the Current Practice of Social Work - WHAT perspectives? DO they come together? Where do WE WANT to go?
- Open Space Seminar with inputs from speakers from social movements, self-organizations and social workers
Component 2: Working in the field of exile and migration: approaches and methods for design and (further) development of specific projects in theory-practice transfer. • units for collection of ideas, on supportive programs and concrete project planning as well as implementation by experts (e.g. Camp Group, Yooweedoo Changemaker, foundations) The seminar will be held bilingually in English and German. The seminar is open to those from all study programs.
