Inhalt
Kommentar	Contemplative Education: Theory and Practice of Mindfulness and Compassion (SoSe2016, International Curriculum; Budde, Herrnleben-Kurz) In this seminar we will study the field of mindfulness. Exploration, examination and interpretation of core principles and concepts of mindfulness and compassion will provide an understanding of the theoretical framework. Furthermore, we will refer to educational applications of contemporary conceptions of mindfulness and compassion and offer hands-on experiences of various methods of mindfulness and compassion practices. These imply the development of a personal practice and the capacity to relate this experience to theory and research.
