From March 10 to 14, 2025, the joint Career Week of the Berlin and Brandenburg universities will take place for the second time. Students can take a close look at their career prospects, network and take advantage of the offers from all 13 participating universities.
Events for International Newcomers
We would like to draw the attention of ASH Berlin's International Newcomers to these five events during Career Week:
- In English, the Career Service of TU Berlin will provide insights into German Employer Mindset on March 10, 2025.
- The question of How to make networking opportunities visible will be answered in English by the Career Service of the University of Potsdam on March 10, 2025.
- The Career Service of ASH Berlin offers Career Orientation in the SAGE Area on March 11, 2025 (in German).
- Tips (in English) for a Work-Life Balance in Studies and Career will be provided by the FH Potsdam on March 11, 2025.
- The questions of how to find your dream job and what to consider during The Application and The Job Interview will be answered in two English-language workshops at the FH Potsdam on March 12 and 14, 2025.
Career entry of international graduates
Once a semester, we invite international graduates to report on their practical experiences as alumni:
- the application phase with international educational biographies
- the onboarding phase in the international team
- everyday working life in Germany

As an international graduate, you can take advantage of the services offered by our Career Service, for example on the subject of job hunting, studying after graduation or funding programs and scholarships.
Statements and publications
In its current statement, the University-Business Working Group makes recommendations to universities, politicians and businesses and calls for more efforts to make the transition to work easier and more successful for international students and graduates. The working group is composed of the Confederation of German Employers' Associations (BDA), the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the German Rectors' Conference (HRK).
