Counseling services at ASH Berlin
The subject-specific student advisory service for the respective degree programs provides advice on topics such as
the admission requirements and general study organization such as the course of study, examinations, practical phases and graduation.
The respective advisors can be found via the start website - to the degree programs - respective degree program - contact persons.
The general student advisory service provides advice on the following topics relating to undergraduate Bachelor's and Master's degree programs:
- Range of courses
- Course selection
- Application and admission certificate
- Organization of studies
- Social counseling
- Study financing
- Studying and family
- Studying and chronic illness/disability
The Student Service Center is made up of various working groups and is closely networked with the degree programs.
The contact persons in the individual teams will support you throughout your studies - from enrolment to the final examination and beyond.
InPuT
deals with issues in the areas of (gender) equality, anti-discrimination, anti-racism & empowerment, diversity, inclusion, support in cases of sexualized harassment & violence as well as compatibility and family.
The International Office advises and supports students on stays abroad, such as exchange semesters at partner universities or practical placements abroad, and organizes the ASH Buddy Programme.
Depending on the subject area, regular telephone consultation hours and/or individual appointments are offered on request.
The aim of "alice gesund" is to create an environment that promotes the well-being of all students and staff. Through targeted measures, facilities and resources, we strive to support physical, mental, emotional and social health in equal measure.
Alice gesund advises and supports on behaviors and habits that have a negative impact on health.
The Career Service advises students from all ASH Berlin degree programs in the fields of Social Work, Health and Education (Bachelor and consecutive Master). The final semesters of your studies are the ideal time to be more aware of your own career development and to seek independent advice and support.
The university strives to be as non-discriminatory as possible. For this reason, there are bodies that provide active support in the event of discrimination.
In the event of discrimination, it is possible to contact anti-discrimination advisors. Advice is generally free of charge and can also be sought anonymously. This also applies if incidents were not clearly recognizable as discrimination or if they occurred a long time ago.
Childcare is available for the children of all members of ASH Berlin, i.e. students, administrative staff, lecturers and teaching staff.
The start-up center offers space for exchange, networking and co-working for all project developers, prospective founders and future shapers from the SAGE area. With information material, advice, coaching, events, a broad network and many other offers, it supports all university members on their way to self-employment.
