Abstract:
The project "Literature research and evidence evaluation of approaches to health promotion in socially burdened families (LEFaG)", funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research within the framework of the "Prevention Research" call for proposals, is carried out in cooperation with the Robert Koch Institute. It aims to produce systematic reviews and meta-analyses based on these reviews. Against the background of family health promotion, the first task is to draw up an overview of existing national and international research results on health promotion and prevention approaches for socially burdened families and their children. The focus here is on the vulnerable subgroups of single parents with children, families in poverty and families with parental addiction problems. Furthermore, life situation-specific prevention needs and potentials are identified and the evidence of the study situation and the effectiveness of the approaches are evaluated. The project ties in with the preliminary work of the evidence analysis on health promotion among single parents. (KiFa)
