Abstract:
The project deals with private outpatient care services as enterprises and is intended to contribute to improving knowledge of the private outpatient care sector in Berlin and its structural problems.
Quantitative data on private outpatient care are researched and evaluated, accompanied by qualitative company case studies. This is supplemented by field-related expert interviews. The aim is to set up a 'Berlin Forum on Private Outpatient Care Services’ to discuss the particularities and problems of small private nursing providers with the relevant actors, and to jointly develop proposals for solutions which will improve the economic sustainability of companies and thus safeguard the quality of nursing care.
