Abstract:
With a focus on the transfer of participatory practices, the “Service Centre for Participatory Research (CatSe)” is a subproject of “Campus Transferale (CaT)”. In collaboration with local organizations, the centre supports the expansion of participatory work in the district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf (Berlin) and provides professional support for local actors developing participatory approaches. In this way, methodological developments for enhancing health and social equity at the local level are initiated and researched. After providing training to strengthen competencies for participatory collaboration, the centre accompanies local actors in their participatory processes. Outputs include further methodological refinements and the development of new workshop formats. Training sessions will be offered for actors in multiplier roles. Experiences and insights gained from this project will continuously be disseminated into the national and international debates on participatory research.
