Funding opportunities for participation in conferences and other events

There are funding opportunities for students to attend conferences and other events.

These have been defined in the guidelines for conference participation (German). Applications must be submitted directly to the ASH budget department.

Funding is available for:

• Participation in conferences and meetings
• Museum visits
• Relevant theater visits in Germany and abroad
• Unaccompanied participation in workshops, summer schools, etc. at universities or research institutions abroad. These activities are intended to promote students' research interests and enable them to participate in conferences that are relevant to their main areas of study, as well as to attend events with a socio-cultural/socio-political focus.

Corresponding fees may also be incurred as part of study trips or for individual participation in events such as conferences.
