How to apply, dates and deadlines

Deadlines:

• Winter term:Yournomination and yoursignedapplicationformmust havearrived by no laterthan 15 June of thesameyear.
• Summer term:Yournomination andyoursignedapplicationformmust havearrived by no laterthan 15 December of theprecedingyear.

Application Documents

Once we have received the nomination from your home university, we will send you an e-mail with all information required for the application. In the e-mail, you will also find the link to our online application portal "Moveon". Please complete the online application and upload the following documents to the application portal (documents must be in PDF format with a maximum size of 5 MB):

• Scan of your passport or national ID document
• Transcript of Records from your home university (German or English or English translation) (= list of courses you already completed at your home university)
• if necessary and already available: a Learning Agreement (= list of courses you wish to attend at ASH Berlin, only for students who complete a study semester at ASH Berlin)
• if necessary and already available: a Training Agreement (only for students who were nominated for an internship in Berlin)

At the end of the online application, a PDF form with your application details will be created. Please save the form, sign it on the last page and send it via e-mail to incoming@ash-berlin.

After having applied

Once we have received your application, we will confirm this via e-mail to you. Afterwards we will issue a letter of acceptance and send you further information. Please read the section Before arrival in Berlin carefully and take care of important issues like your health insurance or a visa.
