Not with us!? Not with us! - Open exchange rounds on the prevention of sexualized discrimination, harassment and violence
As part of the project „Positioned and Visible“, a protection concept for dealing with sexualized discrimination and violence and anti-feminist attacks is being developed at ASH Berlin in a participatory process. The project is part of the research area Intersectional Practice and Transformation (InPuT) and is coordinated and supervised by the InPuT consultants Peps Gutsche and Simone Wibbeke. The process of developing the protection concept is also accompanied by a project group, which supports the project leaders in the strategic implementation of the project goals.
Together with you, we, the project leaders and the project group, would like to discuss the topic in different rounds of exchange and develop perspectives for a responsible and mindful culture at the university.
The title of the series of events is aimed at two aspects: On the one hand, it shows that sexualized discrimination, harassment and violence are seen as something that does not take place in an open place like the university. On the other hand, there are only a few instruments for the prevention of and intervention in sexualized discrimination, harassment and violence at ASH so far. We want to change this with the development of the protection concept.
The exchange rounds are open to all university members and offer a first point of contact to start a conversation about the respective topic. Through interactive methods such as mapping, working with quotes or small group exchanges, impulses for the protection concept development are taken up.
We welcome registrations for the sharing sessions at schutzkonzept@ash-berlin.eu and would especially like to invite students to contribute their perspectives here.
You can't attend one of the dates, but still want/need to share your ideas and experiences? We (Peps Gutsche and Simone Wibbeke) can also be contacted at any time at .
You have experienced discrimination, harassment or violence and you want to report it, get advice or complain? You can do this online via the digital reporting form.
