The project "COIL - Collaborative Online International Learning" is funded by the Berlin Senate until the end of 2024 as part of the Berlin Quality and Innovation Offensive. The goal of the cross-university project is to promote internationalization locally and to enable all students to have international experiences. COIL offers a low-threshold and exciting opportunity to add international and digital teaching to your modules!

What is COIL:

COILs are integrated into existing modules to complement them with international online teaching and international virtual exchange. ASH Berlin lecturers cooperate with lecturers from a partner university abroad and jointly design an assignment on which students from both countries work together with the help of digital media. The focus of the COILs is thus on the one hand the collaboration of students of different nationalities - and at the same time the collaboration of the lecturers. The collaborative work benefits from the different experiences, perspectives and backgrounds of all participants.
