In the 2024 summer semester, the Berlin SAGE universities are inviting you to the lecture series "Antisemitism - challenges and opportunities for action in the social, educational and healthcare sectors". Experts from the fields of social work, health and care as well as education and training will shed light on aspects such as anti-Semitism in discrimination research, in daycare centers and in the professional field of social work. The final event is planned for 10 July 2024 and will be organized by the university management and Prof. Dr. Samuel Salzborn, Anti-Semitism Commissioner in Berlin. The series of events is supported by the Berlin Partner network as part of the Berlin against anti-Semitism campaign.
On 26 June 2024, ASH professors Dr. Esther Lehnert, Professor of History, Theory and Practice of Social Work with a focus on right-wing extremism, and Dr. Barbara Schäuble, Professor of Diversity-conscious Approaches in Theory and Practice of Social Work, will discuss the confrontation with anti-Semitism within the professional field of social work.
The event will take place in the Audimax of ASH Berlin and will also be streamed live.
