In the editorial, Prof. Dr. Bettina Völter, Rector of ASH Berlin, writes about the current issue:
This issue is dedicated to "Treffpunkt Campus" - the meeting point campus. It invites you to re-appropriate the university in a more diverse way, to participate in the events and projects in the building, on the campus and around the campus and to actively shape them. The "Campus Transferale" project, which has been well resourced over five years, creates a special new platform for this and invites people to participate and network with the people of the district in various formats.
The magazine gives suggestions on how the university can open up even better, for people with special needs, with impairments, for non-native speakers and for students and staff in stressful situations. It shows how critical feedback from students is taken up, new learning and teaching formats are created, and open questions are explored. It also shows how we continually advocate for the academization of the nursing and health professions. The university now invites people to study nursing under the new conditions we helped to advocate, and to meet students from other disciplines - health and therapy professions, social work, and childhood education - on campus.
The current issue has many exciting topics in store. For example:
- The nursing degree program, its stumbling blocks and how commitment finally pays off.
- 10 years of HELLEUM: A world-renowned educational institution achieves "middle maturity" and looks to the future
- Being a good father: Promoting health among single fathers
- Let's talk about sex: Sex education basics of social work
- An easier transition to university life: seven strategies for students with impairments and disadvantages
The alice magazine No. 45 can be read online and of course it is also available at the university. We hope you enjoy!
