The Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) will provide an upgrade to the Deutschlandticket for their existing semester ticket to properly enrolled students who have a semester ticket in the summer semester 2023. The upgrade will be app-based. Students who wish to upgrade their Semesterticket must pay a monthly surcharge of €13.95.
