Since September 2023, student employees from the Start With A PEER project have been designing the Infodesk face-to-face service in the entrance area of the university under the guidance of the project coordinator from "alice gesund", Marleen Sorensen, and Kleo Streichert, who is responsible for the introductory phase of studies. The team is now developing its service further by also being available online on four days a week, Monday & Friday from 12.30 to 2.30 pm and Tuesday & Thursday from 4 to 6 pm. The aim is for students with a wide variety of life plans and backgrounds to take advantage of the resilience-promoting mediation services.

Students in their first two semesters in particular benefit noticeably from the team's work, which highlights opportunities for social and political participation at Alice Salomon University. Students are empowered by being better informed about suitable advisory services (e.g. AStA, study coordination, general student advisory service, enrolment administration, writing advice, InPuT etc.) on the study situation and university life.
By referring them to the services offered by "alice gesund", they can work on their stress management and resilience so that they can make their studies more enjoyable and collaborative.

You can find everything about the Infodesk, the new online offers and contacts on the project website!
